Amsterdam, 21 May 2014 – Display specialist AOC continues its on-going commitment to the eSports community. At this weekend“s MCM London Comic Con event (23-25 May), the expert monitor manufacturer will sponsor 2014″s third MCM eSports Tournament, powered by the Electronic Sports League (ESL). AOC will provide the monitors for the event, in which players will compete in the game League of Legends. Using AOC monitors, gamers will play out the competition live on stage in a chance to win EUR 5000 and numerous other prices. In addition, the display expert will partner with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment in the presentation of the free-to-play multiplayer game Infinite Crisis.
Winning big with AOC
This year“s third MCM eSports League of Legends Tournament, hosted by MCM Expo in collaboration with the UK division of the Electronic Sports League (ESL), will take place at this weekend“s MCM London Comic Con from 23 to 25 May 2014. The MCM Comic Con is one of the most popular pop culture and memorabilia shows in the UK, with 100,000 visitors expected for the upcoming London event. In the tournament, which can be followed worldwide via live stream, several teams will compete in the multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game League of Legends in a chance to win EUR 5000, gaming hardware and other prices. In order to equip the competitors with the proper gaming gear, AOC will provide all of them with its premium gaming monitors, which will be used live on stage during the entire tournament.
State-of-the-art displays for the latest hit game
Alongside the tournament, AOC will partner with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, publisher of the upcoming free-to-play MOBA game Infinite Crisis, set to launch in late 2014. The game is based on the popular DC Comics universe and is expected to be a major attraction at MCM London Comic Con. This way, a huge audience will witness the game being presented on AOC monitors live on stage. To make this experience truly unforgettable, visitors will get the chance to earn plenty of giveaways such as T-shirts, posters and free game codes.
